About Dr Christopher Ford

Dr Christopher Ford is a cardiologist with a sub-specialisation in non-invasive cardiac imaging.

Dr Ford was awarded his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2014. He completed physician’s training at St Vincent’s Hospital followed by cardiology advanced training at Box Hill Hospital and Monash Heart. He completed a fellowship in non-invasive imaging at Monash Heart in 2023 and is currently undertaking fellowship in cardiac MRI at the Victorian Heart Hospital. Throughout his training, Dr Ford has published in international medical journals in the area’s of heart failure, cardiac imaging and smart watch technology.

Chris enjoys working with patients and their families to improve their cardiovascular health. He consults and provides stress testing out of the Vital Heart Care, Tecoma rooms.

Away from work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He plays ice hockey, a passion he has brought with him from Canada to Australia.
