About Dr Jithin Sajeev
Subspeciality: Cardiac Electrophysiology and procedural management
Dr. Jithin Sajeev is a consultant cardiologist and is part of the cardiac electrophysiology team at Eastern Health. He has an established private practice for general cardiology and cardiac rhythm management in the eastern suburbs.
Jithin graduated from medical school at the University of Otago, New Zealand. He moved to Melbourne to undertake his clinical and fellowship training. He has further academic and subspecialised clinical fellowship in the management of cardiac arrhythmia and cardiac device therapy. Jithin is actively involved in research and completed a PhD focused on the role of atrial arrhythmias in stroke, with local and international conference presentations and publications stemming from his research.
Dr. Sajeev approaches medical care as a partnership between the patient and the clinician. He strives to inform his patients about their medical condition to facilitate shared management decisions.
Dr. Sajeev works extensively within the eastern suburbs of Melbourne in both public and private setting. He performs cardiac procedures and provides acute inpatient care for unwell patients at various hospital including Eastern Health, Knox Private Hospital and Epworth Eastern Hospital.
