About Dr Jason Nogic
Dr Jason Nogic is a general, structural and interventional cardiologist with a strong interest in cardiovascular research and medical education. Having completed his cardiology training at Eastern, Peninsula and Austin Health networks, he went on to complete sub-specialty structural and coronary interventional training at Austin Health and the internationally renowned Royal Papworth Hospital, Cambridge, United Kingdom. His main interests include the management of cardiovascular risk, coronary artery and structural heart disease and is trained in complex coronary intervention, transcatheter aortic valve insertion (TAVI) and patent foramen ovale (PFO), atrial septal defect (ASD) and percutaneous paravalvular leak (PVL) closure.
Dr Nogic is the Clinical Lead of Cardiac Intervention at Eastern Health, one of Victoria’s largest public health networks. He has a strong involvement in cardiovascular research and has completed a PhD through Monash University assessing coronary artery healing following stent insertion utilising intravascular imaging, with multiple publications in reputable peer reviewed journals.
